Contemplative color field painting with subtle color blending, contrast and fine details. Textured with many layers of gesso to prime the canvas then applied acrylic paint with spatulas and palette knifes creating very organic textures and forms, completed with sennelier soft and oil pastels, high quality Sennelier and Golden Acrylics and glossy finish. There is a lot of hand work done on this painting with the mixing and blending of the acrylic and oil pastels using my fingers! A very bright reflective color palette with contrasting shades of green, blue, orange and pale yellow colors make for great effects and abstract shapes.
