I am happy to report that a collector has purchased my work – Twelve Hours Ahead. This work was sold via Saatchi art gallery. The work was shown last year at The Other Art Fair here in Los Angeles which was sponsored by Saatchi Art – how exciting is that! The work was created in 2017 and was inspired by a trip that I took and the time difference from Los Angeles! The painting measures 60 x 40 inches.
As I mentioned this work was Inspired by a recent trip to India (more on that amazing experience in a future post)! Contemplative multi color and silver abstract color field painting with lots of color blending, contrast and fine details. Textured with many layers of plaster to prime the canvas then applied acrylic paint with spatulas and palate knifes creating very organic textures and forms. I only make original works. Each is a one of a kind so you will have the only one! My artwork is my passion and you can SEE that passion on the canvas – You can experience it each day you own it just like the work’s new owner!
I am happy to announce that my work Daydream Panorama 1 has been sold to David in Huston. Thank you David! This work is done in my signature drizzles style and is a triptych comprised of three 20 x 16 canvases. The advantage of a triptych like this is that you are able to position the works at different distances depending on your taste and the area you are hanging the work. Thank you very much – Nestor Toro 2019

I am happy to announce the sale of my work called A Closer Look Wild Forest Dream). The work measures 61 x 30 inches.
Intricate impactful painting with lots bold colors and texture! The colors were poured in different stages and molded with palette knifes to make great texture. This piece has a very spontaneous bold feel and layers. Colors are mixed with iridescence mica making this artwork bright and full of light. Bold and fiery, a very unique painting created with lots of passion by me, Nestor Toro.
These are many more works in the very popular series called “A Closer Look” so visit the SHOP to see what is new and you just might find something that speaks to you!
Another work sold abstract painting from my series “A Closer Look” and this one is now being enjoyed by Pierre in Switzerland! This painting is called A Closer Look (Drizzlers Delight) and is done in abstract expressionistic style. This painting is very bold with a lot of gold, yellow, and blue as the primary colors. This artwork is reflective and glossy with mica particles and iridescent effects.
Imagine owning a vibrant – colorful – bold original painting to enjoy everyday! You can own my artwork and enjoy confidence knowing that it is a genuine Nestor Toro because each painting comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity to protect your investment in my fine abstract art. Thank you
It is always rewarding when one of my works resonates with someone so strongly that they want to own it and enjoy it each day. I have to admit that while I love ALL the art I offer to collectors there are some works that I will never sell because they are so special to me – this work I call “Blue Reunion” is one such work. I decided to go ahead and put in the market because I knew that someone would see it and appreciate it just as much as I do so why not put it out there. I happy to post that a collector in New York has acquired the painting! Thank you Damayra
The work is a mixed media of acrylic and pastels with a lot of blending done with my bare hands. It is 36 x 48 inches and was painted in 2016 here in Los Angeles.
It’s not easy to make it as an artist…never has been but these days with the global market of the internet giving access to the entire world it’s even more competitive than ever and that’s why I always appreciate when I have a steady collector of my art. Such is the case with the work. This work entitled Color Frenzy 3 was purchased by a collector in Coral Gables Florida. I am delighted to have such wonderful collectors such as Jordan – Thank you! Nestor Toro
A collector in Florida has purchased my work Orange Windows which a vibrant work on paper. I usually paint on canvas but I also create abstract art on paper! This work is now gracing a home in Florida and I would like to thank Donald for collecting my abstract art! Thank you – Nestor Toro

Although this is one of my smaller works at 16 x 20 inches it shows how a small work can make a BIG impact on a wall space. Just imagine how this work looks with bright sunlight streaming into the room and illuminating the work! Stunning!
