Nestor Toro’s style in this piece reflects the dynamic essence of abstract expressionism, drawing inspiration from the rhythmic drips of Jackson Pollock and the vibrant spontaneity of Sam Francis. This technique invites viewers to immerse themselves in the painting’s lively rhythm, as if witnessing the natural transition from one season to the next.

The color palette is a vibrant celebration of seasonal change, anchored by a cool blue background that suggests the fading light of autumn or the crisp air of early spring. This base is enlivened by a cascade of vertical drips in vivid reds and pinks, evoking the last blooms of summer or the first hints of fall foliage, while bright yellows and greens add a touch of renewal, reminiscent of spring’s awakening or summer’s lushness. Purples and teals weave through the composition, introducing a mystical depth that hints at twilight transitions, and black accents provide a grounding contrast, suggesting the earth beneath. White and gold flecks punctuate the canvas, adding a luminous sparkle that captures the fleeting beauty of seasonal shifts.
