The magic of On Solid Ground (Iridescent Spectra) unfolds in its extraordinary use of color, crafted with the finest Sennelier and Golden acrylics—paints renowned for their unparalleled richness and longevity. The canvas anchors itself in a foundation of deep, resonant earth tones: lines of gold, nickel red gold and iridescent green mica particles make a grid in and out of bold emerald green -very iridescent, reflective and impactful. From this base erupts a dazzling interplay of iridescent hues—opalescent whites and silvers shimmer like captured light, while ethereal teals and soft lavenders shift with every angle, creating a spectral dance across the surface. Bold accents of molten gold and hints of mossy green emerge, adding warmth and vitality, as if the painting pulses with the heartbeat of the natural world. Sealed with a UV-protective layer and a glossy finish, these colors radiate with a brilliance that promises to endure, inviting viewers to lose themselves in its depths.

Toro’s technique—spontaneous yet deliberate, textured yet fluid—imbues the work with a tactile energy that feels both grounded and transcendent. Each stroke and drip tells a story of strength and serenity, making On Solid Ground (Iridescent Spectra) a versatile focal point for any setting, from a chic urban loft to a tranquil retreat.
