My work is not for everyone nor is it meant to be! My art is for a the collector who collects art for the pure enjoyment of it. For the knowledge of knowing that they have something special. They connect with the artwork and it resonates with them on a deep level.
I might have mentioned it before but during shows and over email I have been told that a particular work would be back a feeling or a memory from childhood or some special time or event in their lives. Often they mention the emotions that a particular work elicits from them. Others tell me that they get lost in the work and it takes them on a journey of forgotten dreams almost like being a key opening a long closed door.

Of course this represents hundreds and hundreds of tubes of paint and I am sure enough canvas to cover a football field! The reward is that I have artwork hanging in collections all over the world. I feel like a tiny bit of myself is there with them as I put a piece of myself into each painting I create. One is heading to England and the other is on its way to Germany. My artwork is private collections on 5 continents and over 20 countries. All my paintings are unique and original, never trying to replicate my previous work. I enjoy the challenge of trying and experimenting with new colors, techniques and mediums. For this painting I decided to start with a dark background and bring color to it. The result is a dynamic combination of colors, shapes and depth… inspired by nature. Signed!! 28 x 46 inches / 2018
