This piece is a perfect addition for collectors seeking a work that blends ethereal energy with bold abstraction. The style echoes the gestural intensity of abstract expressionists like Jackson Pollock and the vibrant, dripping techniques of Cy Twombly, whose use of linear marks and splattered paint resonates with the painting’s dynamic composition. The diptych’s vivid hues and rhythmic flow make it a stunning centerpiece for any collection, ideal for those who crave art that captures the magic of the northern lights.

The color palette of Under the Aurora (In Between Frequencies) is a radiant array of hues, evoking the shimmering frequencies of an aurora against a night sky. Each canvas features a deep, twilight blue as its foundation, creating a cohesive backdrop that feels like a starry sky illuminated by celestial light. Over this, the artist layers a dense array of vertical strokes in a spectrum of vivid tones—electric blues, bright greens, and golden yellows cascade down the canvases like waves of auroral light, their vibrancy capturing the essence of frequencies dancing in the sky. Accents of fiery red and soft white weave through the composition, adding a sense of depth and contrast that mirrors the flickering glow of the aurora. Small splashes of black and pale cyan dot the surface, resembling stars or bursts of light, enhancing the painting’s celestial, frequency-like quality. The colors seem to pulse with energy across the two panels, creating a rhythmic flow that feels alive and interconnected, drawing the viewer into the ethereal beauty of the aurora.

The technique is textured and spontaneous, with layered, dripping strokes that add a tactile quality, inviting closer inspection. The vertical marks evoke a sense of movement and light, as if the aurora is shimmering across the diptych. Under the Aurora (In Between Frequencies) is a commanding piece that would enhance any space, from a modern home to a contemplative office. For collectors, this painting offers a chance to own a work that radiates celestial beauty and emotional depth, making it a timeless investment in art and wonder.
