The work featured in this New This Week collection is called Ultra Radiant Nighttime Spectra which measures 18 x 24 inches. This painting is part of a new series for early 2023 called “Ultra Radiant Spectra” and for this particular work I painted the canvas BLACK and to that dramatic background I added drizzles of hand blended acrylic paint.
I choose a color palette of purple, blues, and yellow with most colors mixed MICA for reflectivity and depth. The result is this radiant modern abstract and it is available for sale right now!
It arrives ready to hang with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

This statement work makes quite the statement with the BOLD and BRIGHT colors combined with one of Nestor’s unmistakable signature gestural styles which he likes to call “drizzles”! I think you will agree that when you see the photos below.
An additional advantage of a multi-canvas work is the flexibility it allows for display. The individual canvases can be hung together OR spaced out to give it a personalized look depending on the collector’s tastes and their particular display area. This very bold color blending plus iridescent mediums create a piece filled with dimensions, light and depth. Totally completed using palette knifes, paint drips and lots yellow, blue and green, red and iridescent silver.

I use the best Professional Grade acrylics by Sennelier and Golden for rich colors! Thank you Jules! This painting was created in 2021 and is acrylic on canvas. It measures 36 x 48 inches. Bold contemplative color field with yellow, blue, magenta, pink and white. Artwork arrives ready to hang and signed in front.
For this work I used a large palette knife and hand mixed acrylic paint and mediums. The work is completely created spontaneously and is allowed to develop organically with no preconceived direction (inspired by the expressive works of Gerhard Richter) and results in a rich expressive work which leaves the viewer free to experience the work on a purely emotional level.
