ARTWORK IDEA FROM NESTOR TORO

Many of my collectors are regulars and purchase a new work every few months. So have summer homes that also need artwork. Others simply rotate the artwork on their walls to keep them looking fresh which is a GREAT IDEA! So many are afraid of collecting art because they fear they do not have the wall space for it. Rotating artwork (just like art galleries and museums do) – Imagine if they have the same works each time you visited.

Why not do the same thing with your home? Just keep it in mind. I have so many collectors who say they see new works but just don’t know where to hang it – rotate your artwork! That is what all collectors do – it’s what I do! There is finite wall space (even in the largest home) so rotating your artwork gives the space a whole new look and feel. Give it a try and I think you will find out that you love it!

Remember that corner or small room with the same painting for years – well – just imagine have a few works of perhaps 20 x 16 inches (really a great size for many spaces) and changing the artwork in that space every few months – it will change the entire “feel” and “energy” of the room! Try it! Check out the vast selection of affordable 20 x 16 inch works I have available right now!

So with that in mind why not head over to the shop to see what’s new!

I have a series called “Sky Walking” that has been very popular. There are a total of 6 paintings which are 20 x 16 inches. There are only Sky Walking 3 and Sky Walking 2 (Sky Walking 2 is hanging in my living room as I type this) paintings in the series remaining to be sold (hint) so check them out.

I am happy to announce that number 6 of my popular series has been sold to a collector in Italy! The work is a bright, minimalist painting with depth and contemplation filled. Triple primed canvas and layers of paint completed with UV protective gloss enamel. High quality Golden, Sennelier acrylics. Signed on the front. It was painted in 2018. Thank you very much and enjoy the work! Nestor Toro – Los Angeles 2019

I was recently contacted my Jackie here in L.A. who inquired about a studio visit with her brother who was planning on visiting Los Angeles from New York. Of course, I was happy to have them over and as most collectors who visit my studio leave with a painting or two! After discussing his preferences (colors and style) we then discussed the size for the area he wanted the artwork for. Armed with that information – my partner Lee and I presented a number of works that would fit the general criteria he had.

Gordon picked out my work “Night Color Explosion” for his living room. Thank you Gordon! It was truly a pleasure to meet both you and your sister Jackie! I hope you enjoy the work for a long time to come! Nestor Toro 2019

I am happy to announce that my work Daydream Panorama 1 has been sold to David in Huston. Thank you David! This work is done in my signature drizzles style and is a triptych comprised of three 20 x 16 canvases. The advantage of a triptych like this is that you are able to position the works at different distances depending on your taste and the area you are hanging the work. Thank you very much – Nestor Toro 2019

Why not take a moment to view the works in the shop? If you like my artwork – If it moves you or resonates with you then you will enjoy it more and more so buy it today before the one you want is GONE!

Another work SOLD! Seems that my “Maritime Spectra” series is quite popular with several works already sold. I am pleased to announce that the first painting in the series has been sold via Singulart gallery and is now being enjoyed by a collector in the United Kingdom! This nature inspired work is 20 x 16 inches which is a great size for adding color to a small space. You get a big reaction from a smaller painting.

It is always exciting to be acknowledged for an achievement and no more so than for an artist like myself. The art world is a very competitive place and the internet has made that competition explode! It is now possible for every artist on the planet to have a presence online. Even though this has allowed more and more artist’s work to be shown it has always created an environment of such sheer volume that is difficult to find good art with literally millions of works listed online!

“This is why once again I am pleased, thrilled and honored to have one of my works chosen to grace the FRONT COVER of the world’s largest and online gallery of fine art Saatchi Art!”
