I am known for my bright and bold colors so this work is unusual for me being monochromatic. It is done in my signature style with a palette knife as the main painting tool. So being different I knew that it would take a special buyer – well – that special collector found the work and loved it! So I am happy to announce that my work “December” has been sold via Zatista gallery and will soon be enjoyed by a collector each day! The work measures 36 x 57 inches. I know that the photos of this work appear to be in black and white but they are NOT – to prove it I have included a photo of me working on it so you can see the skin tone as proof! Thank you and enjoy it! Nestor Toro – Los Angeles 2019

Don’t you deserve some fine art in your home? Not wall decor (although these works certainly do decorate the space they occupy) but I am talking about real impactful works that you resonate with. That is the type of work that you will enjoy more each day as you notice something new that you see for the first time…or how different it looks from different angles and with different lighting. I have been told that my work is not just visually appealing but it goes beyond that to an emotional or subconscious level – perhaps it brings back memories of a special or impactuful life event.
