This work is truly a one of a kind statement piece and was done using a variety of techniques which give it a unique appearance from my other work. I love doing pieces like this…just letting the creativity flow and take the work where it may! Clearly this work is nature inspired (as so much of my work is) and is make using many mediums including acrylic paint and inks mixed with mica particles to give the work a shimmer and reflective quality!
Green abstract color field with many layers of green and drips of glossed mica particles. This painting shimmers with light, the gloss was applied layer after layer for texture. Bright, impactful and beautiful. Like a bamboo forest! Signed on the front.

I have a collector in Hong Kong who recently purchased a my work Endlessly Blue (Red and Purple Mirrors) and I was thrilled to have her request a commissioned work to be a companion work on the same wall space. She wanted a painting that was not identical but was connected using a similar color palette and style. Here are some photos of the work which she sent so I could view the works hanging together in her amazing home in Hong Kong with a view of the China sea! WOW
